The Sampson Road Association was created as a result of a court order issued on May 14, 1986. The initial Bylaws were created from that court order and are the SRA’s operating guidelines. Further clarification on things needed to operate the SRA are decided by membership vote at the SRA general membership meetings (for example: authorization to hire a SRA bookkeeper separate from the SRA Treasurer position).
In the Bylaws there is a mechanism that provides a way to modify those Bylaws as needed.
